This is a privately published guide to Vanuatu citizenship. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Vanuatu, its Citizenship Office and Commission, its Financial Intelligence Unit, or by any Australian department or agency. Nothing on these pages is an official source, and where an official document differs from what is written here, the document is right.

Reading this does not create a retainer

No lawyer–client relationship arises from visiting the site, reading a page or sending an enquiry through the form. Advice begins with an engagement, and an engagement begins with a written scope. Until then this is published information, offered generally.

Specifically not Australian tax or migration advice

Australian tax residence is determined by the tests the Australian Taxation Office applies to your circumstances, and a second passport engages none of them by itself. Australian citizenship, and what happens to it when another nationality is acquired, is governed by Australian law and administered by the Department of Home Affairs. Both questions belong to an Australian adviser. This site does not answer them and should not be relied on as though it did.

What cannot be promised

Citizenship is granted by the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission in its discretion. No website, agent or adviser can guarantee an application will succeed or state when it will be decided, because no processing standard is published. The due diligence fee is paid for the examination and is not contingent on its result.

Applications go through a designated agent

Direct filing by an applicant is not possible under the programme; a designated agent lodges the application and carries obligations for what is submitted. Descriptions of the process on this site explain that route. They are not an invitation to avoid it, to bypass due diligence, or to withhold material information from the Commission.

Figures change, and some are contested

Contribution amounts and fees are fixed by regulation and can be changed by regulation. Destination access is set by each country and alters without notice. Where sources conflict — the Capital Investment Immigration Plan is the plainest example — this site describes the structure and does not supply figures it cannot attribute. Check anything you intend to act on against its source.

Outbound links point to government material, legal texts and press coverage. Those sites are not under our control and a link implies nothing beyond relevance. We correct errors when they are found, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of a published page rather than advice given on your facts.
